I wanted to clean up the visual chaos created by the ore-intensive industry,
Respect the luxuriant tropical environment without polluting it visually,
Offer a dream-vision to the employees as well as to the visitors… »
This project’s first aim is to translate and respect the roots of the Kanak culture as well as its ability to communicate with Nature. That is why I imagined an installation that would light up the site according to the movement of rain and wind, two fundamental pillars of their culture. At night, a luminous wave comes cladding the factory : varying in colour and intensity, it evolves at tune with the strength and direction of the wind…
